BrightESS was born from a simple but deeply real idea: To give the people we care about the freedom and peace of mind to use electricity without worry.

Frank, the founder of BrightESS, grew up in a small rural village in southern China. In the hottest months, his father often avoided turning on the air conditioner. When the power went out, the whole yard fell into darkness. Every use of electricity carried a little weight.

When Frank brought home an energy storage system for the first time, connected the solar panels, and watched his father enjoy an afternoon nap with the air conditioner running, he realized something profound: Energy has the power to make our life better.

So BrightESS began its global journey — delivering reliable, safe, simple, and long-lasting energy solutions to families, farms, travelers, and small businesses around the world.
